There’s a little bit of something fillin up every empty space
Just like a newborn thought that’s only beginning to formulate
And it’s rising up to the surface of everything we perceive, in all that we are and everything we create, alright
And it makes me wonder if it was all hidden there all along
Below the surface waiting for the perfect poking and prodding from which point on
It’s spreading its influence out like a vine, its ever-inquisitive tendrils probing and gathering energy from the sun, uh huh

Well maybe we sapiens we do have a soul. You’d think that something’s gotta tell all these thoughts where to go when they go, but then again maybe they just drift and flow, with no purposeful direction at all. I guess I don’t think I know.

Where does it come from, and where does it all go?
And is there something there right now, just out of sight?
A billion bits and pieces that never managed to escape, forever waiting to be realized.
But now that I’m here, I’m not going anywhere, oh no
And now that I’m here, I swear I’m not going anywhere anytime soooooon

Got a little something outta nothing pushing me around from within
Guiding my decisions all the while filling me up with questions
Where do these thoughts come from?
What should I do with em?
And certainly not least of all, where do they go when I’m gone?
I guess a little bit of something outta nothing isn’t nothing to be taken lightly
Still I’d gladly put all this behind me if you just remind me how it came to be
Thank you kindly, and along those lines I find it’s nice to think that when I cease to be I still got pieces of me burning infinitely… as they slowly drift away.
